Why I Blog

In the beginning of 2012 I was 9 months pregnant with my second son.  I often turned to the computer for entertainment because I could just sit and relax.  What I discovered was the wide world of blogging.  So many ideas...DIY projects, cleaning tips, great photography, gardening hints,  and lots of Moms sharing the good, the bad and the truth about raising kids....   Wow.  How did I miss this?

I wouldn't consider myself an artist by any means and not really a crafter either, but I do like a good DIY and I'm definitely a Mom.   For these reasons I decided it would be neat to join in the fun and start documenting  our life.  (Well, some of it, at least)

I have since found that it is fantastically addicting.  Not only am I inspired around the house with projects and organizing, but also I am able to relate to so many other parents.  It's quite therapeutic.  The best part is that my boys will be able to read it when they are older.  I didn't really start with that intention, but I'm finding that the blog heads that way often.   After several failed attempts of keeping a journal for my oldest son, I am stoked to have this outlet.

With that said, I hope you enjoy following along and I welcome any tips of the trade or inspiring words of wisdom.
